FansPulse Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Sports Gold Guard LLC d/b/a FansPulse collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal data when people use FansPulse websites, applications, profiles, feeds, chats, live features, creator channels, subscriptions, stores, events, and related services.
1. Scope and Roles
This Policy applies when FansPulse determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. A third party website, app store, advertiser, payment provider, creator business, or linked service may process data under its own policy. The Ambassador Privacy Notice applies to Ambassador Program applicants and participants. An employee or contractor privacy notice may apply to workforce data.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide.
- Account information, including name, username, password, email, phone number, birth date or age range, and region.
- Profile information, including avatar, biography, favorite teams, leagues, sports, creators, and interests.
- User Content, including posts, comments, messages, reactions, polls, predictions, images, audio, video, livestreams, recordings, captions, and files.
- Creator information, including channel data, content schedules, rights documentation, releases, audience analytics, payout onboarding status, and tax status indicators.
- Purchase information, including products, plans, transaction history, billing address, and limited payment status. Full payment card information is handled by the payment processor rather than stored by FansPulse when reasonably possible.
- Communications, reports, appeals, surveys, support requests, and promotion entries.
- Information from contacts or address books only if you intentionally use a feature requiring that access and grant device permission.
- Location information if you enable a location based feature. FansPulse requests precise location only when necessary and explains the feature purpose at collection. The FansPulse apps may read your device's approximate location to confirm your country and state for age, territory, and licensing rules. FansPulse keeps the country and state, not the coordinates.
- Identity verification information, including a photo and an image of an identity document, if you apply for a verified badge. FansPulse uses it only to verify identity and deletes it on the schedule in Section 14A.
- A ZIP code, if you enter one to see local TV and streaming options. It is stored in your browser and used only to choose which options to show.
- Fantasy league information, including league names, rosters, opponents, and usernames, if you connect a fantasy account from Yahoo, Sleeper, ESPN Fantasy, MyFantasyLeague, or another provider.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically.
- Device, browser, app version, operating system, language, time zone, and identifiers.
- IP address, approximate location, network information, login records, security events, and authentication data.
- Usage activity, including pages, feeds, game rooms, creators, teams, searches, clicks, watch and listen time, playback position, reactions, reports, and feature interactions.
- Advertising, affiliate, and attribution information, including the ads and affiliate offers shown to you, whether at least half of an ad appeared on screen, ad and affiliate link clicks (with the page, game, ad space, ad, device type, whether you used the web, an app, or TV, your account if signed in, and a one-way coded session identifier), campaign identifiers, referral links, cookies and similar technologies set by FansPulse and its partners, and conversion events reported by partners.
- Content and safety signals, including spam indicators, duplicate accounts, device relationships, moderation events, audio or image matching, and suspicious behavior.
- Crash, performance, diagnostics, and service logs.
2.3 Information from Other Sources. FansPulse may receive information from login providers, app stores, payment processors, creators, referral partners, advertisers, analytics providers, data licensors, sports data providers, rights holders, security vendors, and public sources, used only for purposes compatible with this Policy and applicable law. This includes fantasy sports providers you connect; app stores and our in-app purchase processor (RevenueCat); and affiliate networks and advertisers, which may report that a click resulted in a sign-up or purchase.
3. How We Use Personal Data
- Create, authenticate, secure, and manage accounts.
- Provide feeds, profiles, game rooms, live audio and video, chats, scores, recommendations, notifications, and creator features.
- Personalize content based on teams, sports, creators, and activity.
- Process subscriptions, purchases, payouts, refunds, and tax or identity status.
- Show advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate offers, including offers from third-party advertisers and affiliate networks; choose ads based on the page, game, team, location, and account type; measure ad delivery, views, and clicks; earn and reconcile affiliate commissions; limit how often an ad repeats; and prevent advertising fraud.
- Attribute referrals and administer Ambassador or creator programs.
- Moderate content, enforce rules, protect minors, prevent abuse, and preserve sports integrity.
- Detect fraud, security incidents, account compromise, spam, and technical problems.
- Communicate about service, safety, billing, legal notices, promotions, and support.
- Conduct analytics, research, testing, accessibility, and product improvement.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and comply with law.
- Create aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify a person.
4. Recommendations, Ranking, and Automated Processing
FansPulse may use account preferences and activity to rank feeds, recommend games or creators, identify spam, detect rights concerns, and flag potential rule violations. Material account enforcement includes human review where reasonably available, particularly after an appeal. FansPulse does not use a solely automated decision to make a decision producing a legal or similarly significant effect unless disclosed and permitted by law.
5. How We Disclose Personal Data
- Other users and the public when you post publicly, go live, create a public profile, or interact in a public game room.
- Creators when you subscribe, follow, participate in a creator community, or purchase a creator benefit, limited to information reasonably necessary for the feature.
- Service providers handling cloud hosting, content delivery, moderation, captions, translation, analytics, security, communications, support, payments, tax, identity verification, and storage.
- Sports data, media, advertising, referral, commerce, or event partners when needed for the service and consistent with disclosed purposes.
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, banks, investors, and financing sources under appropriate obligations.
- Rights holders and platforms when needed to investigate infringement, unauthorized broadcasts, fraud, or safety.
- Government agencies, courts, regulators, law enforcement, or sports integrity bodies when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or competition integrity.
- A buyer, successor, investor, or affiliate in a merger, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, or asset transfer, subject to law and appropriate safeguards.
- Another party with your direction or consent.
Categories of third parties. In the past twelve months FansPulse disclosed personal data to the following categories of third parties for the purposes shown:

FansPulse does not disclose private messages to other users unless a participant shares them, a safety or moderation feature requires review, or law permits or requires disclosure.
6. Advertising, Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
FansPulse is supported by advertising and affiliate partnerships. FansPulse shares personal data with third-party advertisers, affiliate networks, and their technology partners. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and other state privacy laws, some of that sharing may be a "sale" of personal data, "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for "targeted advertising." FansPulse does not sell personal data for money.
What is shared. Identifiers (such as IP address, device and browser identifiers, and cookie identifiers); internet and app activity (such as the pages, games, and ads you view or click); approximate location derived from IP address; and commercial information a partner reports, such as a purchase made after a click. FansPulse does not sell or share sensitive personal data, including precise location, identity documents, date of birth, or the content of private messages, and does not use it for targeted advertising.
With whom. Affiliate networks, advertisers, and advertising technology partners listed in Section 5.
How ads are chosen. FansPulse chooses most ads by the page or game you are viewing, your team or school page, your approximate location, and your account type, then by how much the partner pays. Third-party partners may use cookies and similar technologies to measure clicks and purchases and, where you have not opted out, to show you ads elsewhere.
Your choice to opt out. You can opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal data and of targeted advertising at any time:
- Use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page, or Settings → Privacy → "Do not sell or share my personal information."
- Turn on a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser. FansPulse treats GPC as a valid opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for that browser and, when you are signed in, for your account.
- Reject advertising cookies in Cookie Settings.
After you opt out, FansPulse stops loading third-party advertising and affiliate tracking scripts for you and stops disclosing your data for advertising, except as the law allows. You will still see ads, chosen by the page you are viewing. When you click an ad or affiliate link yourself, you go to that partner's website, and the partner then collects information under its own privacy policy. An opt-out on FansPulse does not change a partner's own cookies; use the partner's choices or your browser settings for those.
Minors. FansPulse does not sell or share the personal data of, or show targeted advertising to, any user it knows or treats as under eighteen. Youth and school pages show no affiliate ads and load no third-party advertising technology.
No financial incentive. FansPulse does not offer a price or service difference in exchange for allowing the sale or sharing of personal data.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
FansPulse uses cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Notice. Users may manage optional technologies through the cookie interface and device settings. Blocking a necessary cookie may prevent account, security, preference, or referral functions. Advertising and affiliate partners may set their own cookies when you click their links or, with your consent, when their scripts load on FansPulse. The Cookie Notice lists them.
8. Data Retention
- Account and profile data while the account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion.
- Public content until deleted or the account is removed, subject to backups, shares, embeds, legal holds, and rights records.
- Private messages for the period needed to provide the feature, enforce rules, address reports, and meet legal obligations.
- Transaction, payout, tax, consent, and contract records generally for at least seven years where reasonably required.
- Security, moderation, and fraud records for a period based on risk, severity, appeal, and legal needs.
- Raw referral click data generally for up to eighteen months before aggregation or deletion, unless needed for an investigation.
- Affiliate click records and ad view counts generally for up to eighteen months before aggregation or deletion, unless needed for a commission dispute, fraud investigation, or legal obligation.
- Identity verification images until the verification decision and any appeal are complete, then deleted within thirty days.
- Login and session logs, including IP address and browser information, for up to twelve months for security.
FansPulse may retain deidentified or aggregated information and may retain data longer for litigation, law enforcement preservation, tax, accounting, security, fraud, child safety, rights, or regulatory obligations.
9. Security
FansPulse uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data and risk, which may include encryption, access controls, logging, monitoring, secure development, vendor review, and incident response. No service is completely secure. Protect your credentials and report suspected compromise to [email protected].
9A. Age Assurance for Paid Gifts
Methods. Paid Gifts are for adults. To confirm you are 18 or older, FansPulse may use your date of birth, an operating-system or app-store age signal, or a third-party age assurance provider on the web. At least one method does not require a government ID.
What is kept. FansPulse retains only the age result, the method, the date, the vendor, and the audit outcome. FansPulse does not receive or store the ID image or selfie a vendor may use. Age assurance data is never used for advertising, recommendations, or profiling. You may appeal or correct an age result by contacting [email protected].
Illinois and Washington biometric notice. FansPulse does not collect, receive, or retain biometric identifiers such as face geometry, selfies, or ID images. Where an age assurance vendor processes such data, it does so under its own notice and consent, and FansPulse receives only an adult-or-not result. [link to the selected vendor's biometric notice — attorney to complete]
Gift transaction records. FansPulse keeps a receipt and permanent transaction history for each Gift purchase, including the Gift, creator, date, amount, and tax. Financial records required by law survive a deletion request.
Creator identity and tax data. A creator who receives Gift earnings completes identity, address, tax, and bank onboarding with the payout provider under that provider's privacy policy. FansPulse receives only the verification status and payout identifiers, not the underlying documents.
Minor account defaults. Accounts FansPulse treats as belonging to a minor default to: private visibility; disabled direct messages; no paid Gifts and no creator payouts; no personalized advertising; no sale or sharing of personal data; no precise location; quiet notification hours; no behavioral Gift recommendations, rankings, or spending streaks; and no affiliate advertising and no third-party advertising or tracking technology. A parent or guardian who believes an account belongs to someone under 13 may contact [email protected] for review, deletion, and a resolution path.
9B. Automated Systems and AI
Transcription and screening of live rooms. Audio in live rooms, watch parties and other live features may be transcribed by automated speech recognition and screened by automated detection systems for threats, harassment, hate, sexual content and other Community Guidelines violations. Transcripts are kept for the period in the retention schedule below and longer when a line is flagged for moderation. Hosts and participants are told this on the room screen.
Automated moderation decisions. Automated systems may hold, label, rank, limit the visibility of, or remove content, and may count toward account restrictions. Every significant restriction can be appealed to a person at /appeal.php, and a person reviews every appeal. Reports from other users never advance a restriction until a moderator reviews them.
Generative AI features. Some features (the AI assistant, image and clip tools, summaries) send the text or media you submit to third-party model providers, currently Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI, under contracts that prohibit them from using your inputs to train their models. We do not use your content, messages or uploads to train machine-learning models of our own, and we do not sell them for that purpose. AI-generated output is labelled where it appears and may be inaccurate.
Profiling and ranking. The feed, alerts and recommendations are ranked by automated systems using your activity on FansPulse. They do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You can reset feed interests and turn off categories of alerts in Settings.
10. Children's Privacy
FansPulse is not directed to children under thirteen and does not knowingly collect personal data from them without legally required parental notice and consent. If FansPulse learns that an account belongs to a child under thirteen without required consent, FansPulse may delete or restrict the account and data. A parent or guardian may contact [email protected] to request review or deletion. FansPulse may take reasonable steps to verify parental authority.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on residence and law, you may have rights to confirm processing and access personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete personal data, subject to exceptions; obtain a portable copy of certain data; opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or significant profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive personal data where applicable; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; appeal a denied request; and not receive unlawful discrimination for exercising rights. Submit requests through the in product privacy request page or [email protected]. FansPulse will verify identity and authorized agent authority as permitted by law.
Depending on your state, you may also have the right to obtain a list of the specific third parties to which FansPulse disclosed your personal data, and to question the result of a profiling decision. FansPulse answers verified requests within forty-five days, which it may extend once by forty-five days where permitted, with notice. If FansPulse denies a request, the response explains how to appeal. FansPulse decides an appeal within the time your state requires, generally forty-five to sixty days, and tells you how to contact your state Attorney General if you disagree. An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission signed by you, and FansPulse may ask you to confirm your identity directly. FansPulse will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
12. State Privacy Rights and Appeals
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and any other state with a comparable law may exercise the rights in Section 11 as their state law provides. Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of covered information by emailing [email protected] or using Your Privacy Choices.
Texas residents may exercise applicable rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. If FansPulse denies a qualifying request, the response will explain how to appeal. Submit an appeal to [email protected]. FansPulse will respond within the legally required period and provide information about contacting the Texas Attorney General when required.
NOTICE: FansPulse may sell your personal data, as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act defines a sale. FansPulse does not sell sensitive personal data or biometric data.
13. California Notice
If FansPulse is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, the categories described in this Policy include identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet or electronic activity, geolocation, audio and visual information, professional information, inferences, and sensitive personal information where collected. California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain use of sensitive personal information, and receive information about categories of disclosures. FansPulse provides a "Your Privacy Choices" link and honors Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of sale and sharing.
Categories sold or shared in the past twelve months: identifiers; internet or other electronic network activity; approximate geolocation; commercial information reported by partners. Recipients: advertisers, affiliate networks, and advertising technology partners. Sensitive personal information: FansPulse collects date of birth, account log-in, identity documents for verification, and precise location only where you enable it. It uses them only for purposes permitted under California regulations and does not use them to infer characteristics. Sources: you, your devices, and the partners listed in Section 2.3. Retention: see Sections 8 and 14A. Under 16: FansPulse does not sell or share the personal data of consumers it knows are under sixteen, and applies the same rule to everyone under eighteen. Shine the Light: FansPulse does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing as defined by California Civil Code §1798.83.
14. International Users
FansPulse is operated from the United States. If you use FansPulse from another country, data may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate. FansPulse will use required transfer mechanisms when applicable. Users remain responsible for local content and wagering restrictions.
14A. How Long We Keep Data
